Labor Day came out of a movement to improve working conditions for all workers in the US. This Labor Day Weekend, to honor those efforts, we’re featuring two classic films with a strong central message: Work sucks.
First up is the 1999 cult favorite, Office Space.
A disillusioned office employee decides to find out exactly what it would take to get fired in this hilarious anthem against greedy, soul-sucking jobs.
WIN A RED STAPLER! That’s right! You could walk away with your very own fire-engine red Swingline 747 stapler. It’s the perfect accessory for daydreaming about setting the building on fire. *Please only daydream about it and do not actually set a building on fire. Thank you.*
Grab your flair, a few co-workers, and enjoy a film that will leave you wanting to smash every copy machine in sight.

Wrapping up Labor Day weekend is the 1980 hit, 9 to 5.
Over-worked? Under-paid? Pushed to the edge? Three women turn the tables on their lying, egotistical, bigoted, and sexist boss to prove that getting even is a full-time job.
Join us as we stick it to the man in Dolly Parton’s theatrical debut, and take back control of the workday in 9 to 5!
