Two time “Wonderland” award winning author & one of the founders of Bizzaro literature, Kevin L. Donihe joins Philosofarian Seth Tichenor for a conversation on the nature of weirdness. Kevin will also perform a “dynamic reading” of some Bizzaro literature (which is pretty “dynamic” if you haven’t seen it before).
Amongst the topics discussed – what does it mean to be weird & how do you make that judgement? Where does the idea of weirdness come from, and why is being weird so often considered a bad thing? And finally, does weirdness offer us anything beyond just “being weird”?
Presented by Seth Tichenor and Kevin L. Donihe
Doors to the Lovell Showroom open at 6:00pm with food and beverages available via the Taproom window. The talk starts at 7:00pm. All ages welcome and never a cover.
