Water Music Festival 2023 promises to be one of the most exciting and memorable in its history of nearly 40 years. The two-concert weekend, October 13 and 14 at the Chinook Event Center in Chinook, starts Friday night (social hour at 6pm, concert at 7pm) with a rousing Cuban guitar-piano duo playing classics from Latin America. Grammy nominees Diego Figueiredo and Chuchito Valdes, two of the most exciting and explosive artists in Latin Jazz today, will thrill the audience with hot sounds of Cuba’s roots and modern jazz. Then Saturday (social hour at 3pm, concert at 4pm) features the unbeatable artistry of world-renowned classical pianist Alpin Hong, one of WMF’s all-time favorite performers. Alpin will take attendees on a breathtaking journey with his magical interpretations, coupled with a warm personality and rare humor.
