The Heritage Museum is proud to announce it will be hosting, Anywhere But Here: The History of Housing Discrimination in Oregon, a traveling exhibit presented by the Fair Housing Council of Oregon. Anywhere But Here will be available for a limited time from November 7th through November 19th.

Anywhere But Here “chronicles Oregon’s largely unknown history of discrimination, segregation, and displacement, as well as the progress we’ve made in overcoming this history and the challenges that remain.” Held in the same gallery as CCHS’s own Blocked Out: Race and Place in the Making of Modern Astoria, Anywhere But Here serves as a powerful reminder of this recent history. See both exhibits at the Heritage Museum. Anywhere But Here is on view November 7th through the 19th. Opening reception November 7th, 5:30-7pm.
