Sash will briefly explain what sauerkraut is and the science of lacto-fermentation. You’ll get to help make a batch of sauerkraut and get some to take home to ferment. Then she’ll demonstrate a few recipes that incorporate raw ferments that will help you get more probiotics into your diet and more razzle-dazzle into your cooking.

Sash Sunday is the founding owner of OlyKraut and the company is the direct result of her fermentation fanaticism and her passion to support a thriving regional food system and economy. Sash grew up in Olympia, WA and studied Food, Health, and Sustainable Agriculture at the Evergreen State College and earned her MBA in Sustainable Systems at Bainbridge Graduate Institute/Presidio University in Seattle.
