In the 1940s big bands and top artists came to Seaside, Oregon to share America’s original art form, jazz. The Seaside Jazz Trio of R.J. Marx, John Orr and Clarence Robinson continues the tradition of beaches and bebop. Their style encapsulates the jazz form from 1930s swing to standards and modern sounds. They’ll be playing June 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Studio 138 at 810 Broadway in Seaside.
