This is a fun pickleball tournament with a non-traditional format organized in partnership with Toyota Lum’s Auto Center and the Clatsop Community College Foundation to support the CCC Bandit Food Pantry. The tournament will be hosted on Thursday, February 8th from 5:00pm to 8:30pm at the Sunset Empire Parks and Rec District in Seaside.
Available sponsorships range from $250-$1,500. Sponsor levels and benefits are listed on the online event registration form. *Secure your sponsorship by January 26th to ensure all sponsor benefits.
Space is limited to 40 total players. Eight individual champions will be awarded. Registration is $75 per player.
Each participant will play in 7 individual games (10 minutes or 11 points, whichever is first. In case of a tie at the end of 10 minutes, the next point scored will be used to break the tie).
Example of a 4-person pool composed of players: A, B, C, and D
Round 1: A & B competes against C & D
Round 2: A & C competes against B & D
Round 3: A & D competes against B & C
Each player earns wins/points individually, while participating as a member of a 2-person team within the same pool.
Players in each 4-person pool will be ranked and then arranged into 8 pools composed of 5 players each.
Each pool of 5 players will play a similar rotating 2-person team format for a total of 4 rounds played per player.

Round 1: A & B competes against C & D
Round 2: A & C competes against B & E
Round 3: A & E competes against B & D
Round 4: A & D competes against C & E
Round 5: B & C competes against D & E
The top ranked player of each pool (8 total) will receive a championship prize!!
Every player, regardless of ability will have an equal (1 in 5) chance of winning a prize!
**Players must register by February 1st to participate in the tournament. All proceeds will support the CCC Bandit Food Pantry.
