North Coast Communities for Watershed Protection is excited to begin an Astoria Chapter! NCCWP’s Astoria Chapter Kickoff event will occur on September 15th. We will gather for an evening of networking and a screening of Paul Johnson’s “Last of the Ancient Rainforests.”
The event will start at 6:00 pm at KALA Hipfish in Astoria and continue until around 9:00. There will be food, drinks, and time to socialize before the film starts. Afterwards, there will be a Q+A with the film director via zoom. Other organizations plan to have representatives present, including SOLVE, Oregon Shores, and the Peachland Watershed Protection Alliance. We would really love to see you there! It will be a great opportunity to connect with others interested in conservation efforts. We will discuss NCCWP’s history, current mission, and plans for the future during the event.
