This is an opportunity to connect with others in the community, experience the power of movement and shared energy, release stress through dance and experience and move through stuck emotions.
This class is offered every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. The class consists of an initial opening circle, followed by approximately 50 to 60 minutes of unstructured movement without verbal interaction, concluding with a closing circle. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
The music is a carefully curated playlist that spans various genres including electronic, world fusion, tribal, jazz, reggae, and ambient. The music is selected to create a journey of rhythms and emotions, guiding participants through different moods and tempos.

Amanda has been a part of the ecstatic dance community in Astoria since she moved here in Spring 2022. As a breathwork facilitator and registered nurse, Amanda’s passion lies in assisting others in healing, integrating, and accessing their authentic self through self-expression and embodiment.
How to prepare and what to bring: Wear clothes you can move comfortably in, shoes are optional, filtered water available on site.
