The American Legion Band returns to the historic Raymond Theatre for a free Red, White & Blue concert on Sunday, June 9th at 2:00pm. Sunday Afternoon Live is pleased and proud to welcome back this stellar ensemble, officially known as the Department of Washington
American Legion Band. The band is 99 years strong, and is the official band for the American Legion. It is one of only three state Department bands currently active in the United States (the
other two serving Missouri and Louisiana). The American Legion Band is composed of civilians, mostly nonveterans. These band members travel on their own to venues and perform free
concerts to inspire their audiences and honor our military.
The American Legion Band is sure to inspire and entertain! They have performed themes from the Marvel Universe films, movie soundtracks, and Broadway. They will raise the roof with an
awe-inspiring repertoire of marches and patriotic songs. And no performance could be complete without their unforgettable salute to our armed forces—a medley of the official themes
of the military branches. The Department of Washington American Legion Band will perform at the historic Raymond
Theatre (323 3rd St, Raymond, WA) on Sunday, June 9th, at 2:00 PM. This is a free concert and is open to the public. Don’t miss it!
