Explore the world of Raku. Choose between obvara (Baltic Raku: quenching pots in fermented slurries) or more traditional Raku styles. This process creates unique and surprising surface patterns.
Upcoming Raku Workshops: First Saturday of the Month, May to August:
May 4th
June 1st
July 6th
August 3rd
We will start every raku session by firing the previous sessions bisqued work so that you can see the process (2:00pm-3:00pm). Then from 3:00pm to 5:00pm you’ll work on handbuilding your pieces with raku clay. Plan to come back the following session to raku fire your own pieces.
