This year, in conjunction with National Pollinator Week, Clatskanie Farmers Market is expanding it’s beloved annual Bee Education Day to include a celebration of ALL pollinators!!
Bring the whole family and join us for live music from the “New Romeo Loafers” as you enjoy all your favorite market vendors, along with special guests, more educational exhibits than ever, and special FREE activities for the kids- we’ll have a pollinator scavenger hunt, face painting and henna tattoos, hands-on hive play, and a Build-Your-Own Herb Bundle workshop for our young people, and kids of ALL ages are encouraged to dress as your favorite pollinator and join us as we stroll around the park for a Pollinator Parade at NOON!
We accept SNAP and Oregon Farm Direct Nutrition checks! We will match all SNAP purchases up to $20 with $20 of free Double Up Food Bucks (and enter you in a drawing to win tickets to one of our Farm to Table dinners every time you use your EBT card at the market). We also have a $2 PoP token for every kid between 3-12 who comes to the market to spend on fresh fruits and veggies.
If all that didn’t already grab you, there’s MORE:
~A beer garden featuring HUB Honey Porter
~An after hours outdoor movie screening of “The Pollinators” at Checkmate Park with Beer, Jun & Food at 8pm!
