Sweetheart Yogi is a 6 years, 6 months old, 75-lb Large Mixed Breed with a gentle soul and an easygoing vibe. He’s our second longest stay dog and needs a home! Yogi is a lovable, mellow companion who enjoys life at a relaxed pace. Until the moment feels right and then, look out, it’s playtime!
Yogi’s favorite things include:
🎾 Tug-of-war (classic and proud)
💦 Splashing in the water
🛋️ Couch cuddles right beside you
🍑 Good ol’ fashioned butt scratchies (non-negotiable)
He’s friendly with people, always happy to say hello, comes when you call, and settles in beautifully for cozy evenings at home. His sweet, gentle nature makes him a wonderful match for someone who wants a calm, affectionate buddy with the occasional burst of silly fun. He does well with some other dogs, though he’s selective so if you have a resident pup, let’s do a meet and greet. No cats, please.
Being in the shelter for so long has been hard on Yogi. A home would give him the peace, comfort, and love he’s been missing. And remind him what it feels like to be someone’s dog again!
