The Warrenton Community Library is hosting author Steven Craig at “Library After Dark” on Saturday, April 12th at 4:00pm. Steven will share more about his writing process, read excerpts from his works and answer audience questions.

Steven Craig is a retired Coast Guard Reserve Captain with over 38 years of combined active and reserve service and a retired Postmaster with the U.S. Postal Service. He holds a master’s degree in emergency management and has served in various emergency management roles with federal, state, college, county, and local agencies. He has also taught at multiple venues, including a tenure at a university in Pavia, Italy. Steven is the author of four books, including the award-winning, “All Present and Accounted For”. His presentation will focus on the grounding and near-sinking of the Coast Guard Cutter Jarvis in Alaska in November 1972, highlighting the heroic efforts that saved the ship. His upcoming book, which focuses on emergency preparedness, is scheduled for release in late spring. He currently resides in Centralia, Washington.
