The Warrenton Community Library is hosting author & poet Jennifer Nightingale at “Library After Dark” on Saturday, February 8th at 4:00pm. Jennifer will share more about her writing process, read excerpts from her works and answer audience questions.
Jennifer Nightingale is a poet, novelist and short story writer. She is the author of the PNW coming-of-age tale Alberta & the Spark. There you will meet Alberta Evans and her friend the Spark. You will experience the strength and tensions of a coastal community, oyster stew, sneaker waves and town bullies.

Nightingale is also a regular at Ric’s Open Poetry Mic in Astoria on Pier 11 every first Tuesday. She has read her work in Seattle, Vancouver, BC, Longview Library, Wrecsam Wales, FisherPoets Gathering, Cannon Beach Library Writers Read, The Hoffman Center for the Arts and at Trash Tales in Tillamook County. She lives in Astoria Oregon with her husband Holt Moore and dog Mickey. They can be seen walking the River Beach in search of trash, rubber balls and familiar faces.

Author talk starts at 4:00pm; refreshments and mingling at 5:00pm.

“Library After Dark” is a monthly PNW author series. This event is free to attend and is sponsored by the Friends of Warrenton Community Library.
