Whole Washington Brings Dialogue on Healthcare Reform to Long Beach
Long Beach, WA – April 13, 2024 – Whole Washington, a grassroots organization advocating for universal healthcare in the state, is set to host a town hall event at the Adrift Hotel & Spa on Sunday, April 28, 2024. The event aims to foster an open dialogue about the shortcomings of the current for-profit healthcare system and explore potential solutions.
The town hall is a non-partisan, educational gathering open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Whole Washington representatives and share their personal experiences with the healthcare system. The event will kick off with a presentation by Whole Washington, providing insights into the organization’s mission and the proposed Washington Health Trust. This will be followed by an open question and answer session, where attendees can voice their concerns and seek clarity on healthcare-related issues.
“Everyone has a story, and we want to hear yours,” said a spokesperson for Whole Washington. “Our goal is to create a space where community members can come together to discuss the challenges they face under the current healthcare system and explore how the Washington Health Trust can address these issues.”
In addition to the town hall, Whole Washington will be offering two in-person Volunteer Trainings over the same weekend. These sessions present excellent opportunities for individuals interested in healthcare advocacy to connect with like-minded individuals and build a strong community network.
