Join us for an engaging workshop with our first national visiting artist, Carli Giese!

In this class we will explore the expressive potential of clay by focusing on the human figure and face. Participants will coil-build a small bust conveying an emotion of your choice, using clay as a means of self-expression and storytelling. Through hands-on guidance you will learn techniques for capturing likeness and feeling in your sculptures. This workshop is designed for all skill levels and will give you a chance to experiment, make mistakes, and explore your creative instincts in a supportive environment. Together we will delve into the nuances of facial expression and form, helping you develop your skills and deepen your connection with the material.
