North Coast Chorale will present the “Dark Night of the Soul”, a Christmas concert on Sunday, December 8th at the Little Island Creamery in Cathlamet, Washington This music for this concert by Ola Geilo, a Norweigan-American composer contains text from poetry by St. John of the Cross. It promotes a self-reflective journey represented by piano, strings and haunting voices that ultimately has a rewarding resolution with Geilo’s “Luminous Light of the Soul”. The performance features Director, Vincent Centeno’s student, Kaleb Brewer. Tickets for this event are $15 and can be purchased via Eventbrite or at the door.
