North Coast Chorale will present “Dark Night of the Soul”, a Christmas concert featuring music by Norweigan-American composer, Ola Geilo with text directly from poetry by St. John of the Cross. It is a self-reflective journey featuring piano, strings, and haunting voices which ultimately arrives with a rewarding resolution in “Luminous Light of the Soul”. Performances will be held at the Charlene Larson Center for Performing Arts in Astoria on December 13th at 7:00pm and December 15th at 4:00pm. Tickets are $17, with children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult. They are available at the door or via the Chorale website, www.northcoastchorale.org.
