North Coast Chorale will present “Dark Night of the Soul”, a Christmas concert featuring music by Norweigan-American composer, Ola Geilo with text directly from poetry by St. John of the Cross. It is a self-reflective journey featuring piano, strings, and haunting voices which ultimately arrives with a rewarding resolution in “Luminous Light of the Soul”. Performances will be held at the Charlene Larson Center for Performing Arts in Astoria on December 13th at 7pm and December 15th at 4pm. Tickets are $17, with children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult. They are available at the door or via the Chorale website, www.northcoastchorale.org.
