Darcelle XV and Company bring glitz, glamour and comedy to the
Coaster Theatre Playhouse
Hot off their historic, Guinness World Record-setting Drag-A-Thon performance for the longest drag artist stage show, the performers of Darcelle XV Showplace are coming to the Coaster Theatre Playhouse.
The Las Vegas-style cabaret revue will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday September 17th.
Darcelle XV Showplace opened in Portland in 1967 by Darcelle XV (Walter Cole) and is now a nationally recognized historic site. Darcelle earned the record as the “world’s oldest working drag queen” before Walter’s death on March 23, 2023.
Darcelle’s legacy continues and the Portland club remains open under the watchful eye of Walter’s children and longtime collaborator Poison Waters.
