CLAMSHELL RAILROAD DAYS
Saturday and Sunday – July 19th & 20th, 2025
Join the fun as we celebrate Clamshell Railroad Days and raise much needed funds for the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum. Hop aboard two fun-filled days of model trains, crafts and history on July 19th and 20th. The $5.00 admission fee includes a souvenir pin and Museum entrance for 2 days, kids under 12 are free. On Saturday doors open at 10:00am with model train layouts hosted by the Peninsula Model Railroad Club. Guests will include the Mt. Rainer N-scale club, the Pacific Northwest On30 Club, The Longview/Kelso N-scale layout, the Portland Z-scale group and Dean and Donna Mead’s fantastic Lego train!
Come make a Sand Art Train in the craft courtyard next to the historic Ilwaco Freight Depot and the railcar NAHCOTTA. The railcar NAHCOTTA will be open for touring both days. Members of the Museum’s Collection Department will be onsite to talk about the railcar and its ongoing preservation.
