Hop aboar d two fun-filled days of model trains\, crafts and history on July 19th an d 20th. The $5.00 admission fee includes a souvenir pin and Museum entranc e for 2 days\, kids under 12 are free. On Saturday doors open at 10:00am w ith model train layouts hosted by the Peninsula Model Railroad Club. Guest s will include the Mt. Rainer N-scale club\, the Pacific Northwest On30 Cl ub\, The Longview/Kelso N-scale layout\, the Portland Z-scale group and De an and Donna Mead’s fantastic Lego train!\nCome make a Sand Art Train in the craft courtyard next to the historic Ilwaco Freight Depot and the rai lcar NAHCOTTA. The railcar NAHCOTTA will be open for touring both days. Me mbers of the Museum’s Collection Department will be onsite to talk about the railcar and its ongoing preservation.\nThe Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
