Aretta Christie and Janie MacDonald are two concerned citizens organizing free local speakers forums regarding non-partisan topics that explain how the decisions that are made in Washington, DC, affect our communities in Clatsop County. We call these discussions “Ask Questions/Get Answers at the Library Talks.” This talk is on HEALTHCARE “How H.R.1 has Affected Healthcare in Clatsop County.” Speakers include: Erik Thorsen, CEO, Columbia Memorial Hospital; Shyra Merila, Executive Director, Clatsop Behavioral Health; Dee Nguyen, Clatsop County Public Health and Representative Cyrus Javadi, presenting an overview of County and State healtcare including OHA and West Coast Alliance. This talk is in the FLAG ROOM at the Astoria Library and the audience has opportunities to ask questions of all the speakers.
