The exhibit of artwork, poetry, and music, “Artists Against Fascism” will hold an opening reception on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Astoria Art Loft, from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. The exhibit will continue through June 10th. Concerned over events carried out by the leadership of the federal government, local artists and concerned citizens have formed a group on the North Oregon Coast called “Artists Against Fascism”. Sixty-seven artists have submitted artwork, poetry, and music protesting recent events. Noted caricature artist , Allen Schmertzler, will be demonstrating his art during the opening reception.
