DESCRIPTION:The exhibit of artwork\, poetry\, and music\, "Artists Against 
 Fascism" will hold an opening reception on Saturday\, May 9\, 2026 at Asto
 ria Art Loft\, from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. The exhibit will continue through J
 une 10th. Concerned over events carried out by the leadership of the feder
 al government\, local artists and concerned citizens have formed a group o
 n the North Oregon Coast called "Artists Against Fascism". Sixty-seven art
 ists have submitted artwork\, poetry\, and music protesting recent events.
  Noted caricature artist \, Allen Schmertzler\, will be demonstrating his 
 art during the opening reception.
