On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 the Seaside Library Friends and Foundation will welcome back author Zoë Bossiere for a writing workshop called, “Your Life on the Page: An Introduction to Memoir Writing.” The event will take place at 2:00pm in the Community Room.

What kind of story are you living? In this 60-minute session, Zoë Bossiere, author of “Cactus Country: A Boyhood Memoir” will share practical tips about how to turn yourself into a character and write your life into an engaging personal story. During the session, writers will have the chance to read from short memoirs, participate in guided group discussions, and begin to write their own true story from a series of generative prompts.
