Ilwaco Artworks Community Clay Studio – 109 1st Ave N Ilwaco, WA. Ages 10-13 w/an adult or ages 14+. All levels welcome.
This class will prepare you to be self-directed in the ceramics studio, perfect for a studio membership or punch card! You will learn the foundations of studio work including prepping your clay and workspace to the use of basic tools, handbuilding methods, clay body types, and clay reclaiming. We will also cover moisture content, wrapping and storing, glazing, firing cycles and finishing your work.
