The 3rd Annual Wild Coast Film Festival returns to Astoria, OR bringing wildlife and conservation films from renowned regional and international storytellers to the coast. Featuring seven film blocks spanning wildlife, adventure and science. Festivities will also include: community building pop-up events and panel discussions; educational and art-focused nature walks led by award winning wildlife photojournalists (National Geographic, Smithsonian, Audubon, International League of Conservation Photographers); showcasing of local and regional businesses and non-profits; and, prize raffles. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Wildlife Center of the North Coast – a wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education center located in Astoria, OR, that rescues 1,000 patients annually, specializing in aquatic wildlife along Oregon’s Central and North Coast.
