Norah will take the class through her studio répertoire, demonstrating her unique process in crafting wheel-thrown mugs, teapots, pitchers, lidded jars, and vessels thrown in two parts. On day two the class will be oriented around trimming and decorating. Participants will practice carving/inlay decorating using a grid.
Then, join us Saturday, November 22nd for Norah’s mixing and Applying Underglazes Workshop!
In this workshop, participants will experiment with mixing underglazes to attain their ideal hues. You’ll practice mixing a palette of colors, then apply your custom glazes to either your own bisqueware or pre-made bisqueware tiles made by Norah to create unique, expressive designs.
