The Trail’s End Art Association Gallery will open a new show in July featuring Richard L. Kiehn. There will be a reception for our featured artist on July 4th, during the Gearhart Art Walk, 2:00pm to 5:00pm. This show will be open Fridays to Mondays, 10:00am to 5:00pm from July 4th to July 27th.
While fluent with many mediums, former architect Richard L. Kiehn is currently painting with oils using the plein-air method. With his impressionistic style, Kiehn captures the colors and patterns of the natural and urban settings he’s visited, expressing the energy and rhythms he observes. Onsite sketches and photos provide the basis and inspiration for his larger studio creations. In addition to the artist reception, there be fun things happening at the gallery to celebrate the 4th of July starting at 11:00am, including outdoor art for kids, face painting and craft sales out on the gallery lawn. Come join us after the Gearhart 4th of July parade!
