STEINWAY ARTIST STEPHEN BEUS IN CONCERT IN CANNON BEACH
On Saturday, Oct. 12th, at 7:00pm, Stephen Beus, an internationally acclaimed Steinway Piano Artist, will perform works by Liszt, Vivaldi, Mozart, and Medtner at Cannon Beach Community Church on a 7-foot 2008 Steinway Grand Piano. This 7th Annual Drumheller Benefit Concert is dedicated to the memory of Tom Drumheller, with a suggested $10 at the door to benefit Cannon Beach Food Pantry. Stephen Beus teaches Piano Performance at Brigham Young University. Beus is an internationally acclaimed concert pianist, with recitals and performances across the United States as well as in Kazakhstan, Russia, Finland, Denmark, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Georgia, China, France, Italy, Portugal, the Czech Republic, and Morocco. Fanfare magazine writes: “His playing is strikingly original and . . . he has an interpretive voice all his own. . . Above all, his playing is so natural as to seem effortless and the sound he produces has extraordinary richness and depth, not quite like anyone else’s.” This piano concert opens the 7th Annual Cannon Beach Steinway Piano Concert Series hosted by Cannon Beach Community Church.
