On select Wednesdays we will be showcasing locally and nationally renowned musicians in an intimate and interactive setting.
JANUARY 29th FEATURED ARTISTS
✶Leo Moon: of Blitzen Trapper
✶Evan Jiroudek: Astoria, OR Local Talent of Innocent Alex
✶Parlin Sheilds: Parlin Shields is an interdisciplinary artist who has performed with the Seattle Opera and sung for the Dalai Lama. They work with movement, sound, image and language.
✶Adam Brock: Adam Brock is a songwriter, composer, doodler who has written Dairy Queen jingles and taught Timothee Chalamet to fake play bass. He and Parlin are currently collaborating on a space sport opera from their home base on Lopez Island.
How it works: $10 suggested donation, all proceeds go directly to the musicians. Join us at Broder Cafe to mingle and enjoy pre-show snacks and beverages (for purchase). When the show begins, all featured artists will hang out on stage, and chat about each song they play for us. Since they’re appearing solo, we will get the unique experience of hearing each song in its purest form. The audience will have a chance to dig deeper into the songwriting process and maybe even play some percussion or sing along.
