Five years old and 71 pounds, this gentle hound hasn’t always had an easy life. Kaylani came to the shelter with health challenges, but with care, is back in top form. But through her struggles, Kaylani’s true nature revealed itself: an incredibly sweet soul that touches the hearts of all she meets.
This soft-hearted girl currently lives in a foster home, where she’s displayed excellent manners; crate-trained, leash-trained, and without any house-training issues. Calm and quiet, Kaylani rarely barks, and readily takes kind correction.
More than anything, Kaylani’s dearest wish is to become one of those once-in-a-lifetime canines that never leaves your heart. She adores being close to her humans and included in their daily lives, a true member of the family. And if you want to really delight her, all you need to do is take her on a walk, or even just pop outside with a ball — this snuggly girl loves to rollick around, and would be thrilled with a yard of her own!
