Duncan’s the Dude!!
Duncan is a bright, playful, and eager-to-learn young working-breed dog who will thrive in an active household. He loves playing with toys and is happiest when you join in. A game of tug-of-war or fetch is his idea of a great time!
Duncan walks well on a leash and is quickly learning basic commands like “sit” and “down.” Because he is treat-motivated and eager to please, Duncan is a joy to train using positive reinforcement. At the shelter, he can be reactive to other dogs behind fences and on a leash, so we believe he would do best as the only pet in the household.
Like most working breeds, Duncan loves to sniff and stretch his legs, so a home with a fenced yard where he can enjoy the outdoors would be his best fit. He’s ready to be your hiking, jogging, and all-around outdoorsman buddy.
As if his great personality isn’t enough, Duncan is a super-cool looking dog with an adorable “lion’s mane” around his neck and shoulders, complete with a mustache and beard fit for a king! He’s ready and waiting for his forever home; could it be yours?
