The WSU Master Gardeners of Pacific County will be at the third annual Dahlia Show sponsored by the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum on Friday, September 12th and Saturday, September 13th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. We will be in the Café room inside the museum. We will be happy to answer your dahlia questions or any other landscape-related questions, concerns, and suggestions. The Museum is located at 115 SW Lake Street in Ilwaco, WA.
If you have questions such as:
• What types of viruses and insects are dahlias prone to?
• Do I have to dig up my dahlia bulbs in the fall and store them?
• My Asian pear tree did not have many Asian pears this year. Why?
• What tomatoes do best in our marine climate?
We can help you! Stop by anytime between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Friday, September 12th and Saturday, September 13th. Bring samples if you can.
Also, veteran Master Gardener Mike Karvia will be at the tool sharpening station on Friday, September 12th and Saturday, September 13th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the Café room inside the museum. Get your tools sharpened our local Master Gardener tool sharpening expert!
