The WSU Master Gardeners of Pacific County will be at the annual Dahlia Show sponsored by the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum on Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. We will be in the Café room inside the museum. We will be happy to answer your dahlia questions or any other landscape-related questions, concerns, and suggestions. The Museum is located at 115 SW Lake Street in Ilwaco, WA.

If you have questions such as:
• What types of viruses and insects are dahlias prone to?
• Do I have to dig up my dahlia bulbs in the fall and store them?
• My Asian pear tree did not have many Asian pears this year. Why?
• What tomatoes do best in our marine climate?
• How can I best keep my raised beds ready for spring planting?
• When is a good time to plant vegetable seeds and transplants?

We can help you! Stop by anytime between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th. Bring samples if you can.

We will also have handouts on the following topics as well as other information:
• Watering Home Gardens and Landscape Plants
• Winterizing Your Yard
