Expand your creative repertoire with a weekend exploration into organically built sculpture. This class will take you outside to gather natural materials, then return to the Sou’wester pavilion to build nature-inspired assemblage sculptures. Students will learn how to combine their materials through weaving techniques, supplemented with additive processes involving wood glue, clay, plaster, wire, and more.
Open to all and beginner-friendly, this course provides the tools and materials required to leave the two-day workshop with one amazing sculpture, as well as the option to present their created artwork in a group exhibition at the end of day two.
