Garibaldi and Bay City Branch Libraries will be hosting Spring Chinook Salmon eggs as part of Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s educational Salmon Trout Enhancement Program (STEP). Representatives from Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and Tillamook Estuaries Partnership will be in Bay City at 10:30am and at Garibaldi at 11:30am on Tuesday, October 22, to deliver the eggs and talk about salmon and their habitat. All ages are invited to this event and to join us in watching them develop over the following weeks, learn more about them, and help release them into the wild when they are ready.
