On Saturday, June 14, we celebrate PEOPLE POWER! Grab your signs and join us, noon to 1:30pm, for a “We the People” One-Mile NO KINGS! peaceful protest along the south side only of Marine Drive in Astoria. Bring a friend (or five or ten) so we can spread out and fill an entire people-powered family-friendly mile.
This is not a march. The line-up will run from 18th to 35th Streets on Marine Drive. Don’t park in the Maritime Museum, Coast Guard, or private business parking lots. For safety, we’re staying on the south side to avoid pedestrian crossings of Marine Drive and make a strong showing. Hosted by Indivisible North Coast Oregon and North Coast Action.
