Monday Musical Club of Tillamook is starting 2026 with the Musical comedy “UNDER THE KISSIN’ TREE” for its January program to be held at the Tillamook United Methodist Church on Monday, January 12th at 7:00pm.
“Under The Kissin’ Tree” is a mini-musical comedy written and composed in 1985 by Fenton McLellan and Barbara McLellan Beebehiser. It is set in the 1920’s and features 18 of their songs. They were a father-daughter team who lived in Bay City, Oregon and were members of Monday Musical Club of Tillamook.
The first performance of “UNDER THER KISSN’ TREE” was in January 1986 and will be performed again 40 years later in 2026 in our Monday Musical Club’s January program. Some of this year’s cast were in the 1986 performance.
