Alyssa Graybeal is a writer and cartoonist whose work explores the emotional landscape of chronic illness and disability. Her memoir “Floppy: Tales of a Genetic Freak of Nature at the End of the World,” is about living with the connective tissue disorder Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and it won the Red Hen Press Nonfiction Book Award. She works as an editor and writing coach, and lives in Astoria, Oregon.
