The Warrenton Community Library is hosting author Ferrell Hornsby at “Library After Dark” on Saturday, January 11th at 4:00pm. Ferrell will share more about her research and writing process, read excerpts from her works and answer audience questions.

Ferrell Hornsby has been writing stories and poetry since she could hold a pencil in her chubby, little hand. Encouraged by her grandmother, she continued writing, even after receiving her first rejection letter at age twelve. Since then, she continued to write, but didn’t attempt publishing until her children insisted she publish the stories she’d told them when they were little. Then, at her publisher’s recommendation, she began exploring the world of historical romances (using the pen name Emily Daniels). She thrills to the combination of historical settings, suspenseful adventures and new love blossoming. Her own life experiences add a depth and emotional connection to her characters. With four novels and fifteen children’s books currently in print, Ferrell continues to create stories that delight readers young and old. Ferrell married her soul mate in 2011. Her life hasn’t been the same since! Together, they enjoy music, movies, travel and ice cream (the more chocolate, the better).

Author talk starts at 4:00pm; refreshments and mingling at 5:00pm.

“Library After Dark” is a monthly PNW author series. This event is free to attend and is sponsored by the Friends of Warrenton Community Library.
