Jennifer Goodenberger: Visual Artist, Pianist, Composer, and Poet to Exhibit Artwork at Grace Episcopal Church
Astoria, Oregon β Jennifer Goodenberger, a celebrated pianist, composer, visual artist, and poet known for the elegance of her playing and her expressive performances, will be showcasing her artwork at Grace Episcopal Church, located at 1545 Franklin Ave, Astoria, Oregon. The exhibition will open with a reception for the artist on November 10th, from 11:00am to 12:00noon, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to meet Jennifer and discuss her creative process between 11:00am and 11:45am. The exhibition will be open to the public throughout the month of November.
The exhibition will feature 38 pieces of Jennifer’s artwork, created in the captivating paper collage style. Her diverse subjects include flora and fauna, illuminated manuscripts, and sacred geometry, among others. For 25 years, Jennifer has dedicated herself to her art, skillfully repurposing paper with an eye for detail to present thought-provoking and spiritually resonant imagery.
In addition to her visual art, Jennifer has been performing for nearly 40 years as a concert pianist, musical director for theater productions, radio programmer, college teacher, and private piano instructor. She is also the author of “Subject Guide to Classical Instrumental Music,” published by Scarecrow Press.
A passionate advocate of the healing power of music and the arts, Jennifer states:
