Forest to River: 2026 Home & Chef Tour Showcases Coastal Beauty, History and Flavor
Warrenton & Hammond, Oregon | May 9th, 2026 | 11:00am to 3:00pm.
Assistance League of the Columbia Pacific invites the community to step inside some of the North Coast’s most beautiful and distinctive properties at the 2026 Home & Chef Tour, themed Forest to River.
This beloved annual event pairs stunning architecture with culinary artistry. A talented local chef will be stationed in each of the featured properties, offering delicious bites inspired by our coastal landscape. Guests will wander from towering evergreens to river views, savoring flavors and stories along the way.
For 18 years, the Assistance League of the Columbia Pacific has served Clatsop and Pacific counties with hands on programs supporting local students. Last year alone, ALCP helped more than 2,000 children, a testament to the growing needs of families and the generosity of this community.
A Glimpse of the Homes on Tour
Among the exceptional properties guests will experience are:
The Daniel Knight Warren House (1885)
A crown jewel of local history, the Daniel Knight Warren House spans more than 4,400 square feet, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms set on eight acres of pastoral beauty. Built in 1885 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this grand home reflects the craftsmanship and ambition of early Oregon pioneers. Visitors will experience both its stately elegance and its enduring connection to the region’s timber and river heritage.
Camp Kiwanilong
Nestled on 270 acres surrounding Long Lake, Camp Kiwanilong offers a completely different but equally captivating setting. Tour guests will explore the main lodge, 14 bunk cabins, the arts and crafts building, and the beloved Schrager Shelter, complete with its undercover fire pit perfect for year round marshmallow roasting. With swimming, boating, fishing and volleyball woven into its landscape, the camp embodies the spirit of community and outdoor adventure along the Oregon Coast.
