Finnish American musican and researcher, Devina Boughton, will speak and perform on Monday, July 14th at Suomi Hall in Astoria.
She will share community stories she has gathered as a researcher in Finnland and the United States; in addition she will perform Finnish-American folk music on the trumpet and puuasrvi (buckhorn), and in song.
No charge for admission but donations gladly accepted.
