The second annual Driftwood & Daffodils will be hosted by the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco, April 5th and 6th.  Part contest, part show, this event features a driftwood contest and a daffodil show.

Registration for the event is open now. Registration forms and more information can be found at CPHM’s website www.columbiapacificheritagemuseum.org or by stopping by the museum. Entries are to be dropped off on Thursday, April 4th at the museum from 10:00am-4:00pm. Ribbons will be awarded in multiple categories in addition to “Best in Show” and “People’s Choice” awards.

Along with displays of the submissions, which will be on view April 5th and 6th from 10:00am to 4:00pm, the museum will also host a Spring Daffodil Tea on Saturday April 6th. Two seatings will be offered, at 11:30 am and at 2:00 pm, reservations are required. A curated assortment of teas, savories and sweet treats will be served. The cost is $35 per person. Driftwood and Daffodils coincides with the opening of “Walking on Art: Traditional Hooked Rugs of the Ocean Park Rug Club, 1977-2024.” Members of the Ocean Park Rug Club will be demonstrating the art of rug hooking in the Special Exhibition Gallery on Friday and Saturday 10 – 4PM.
