AVA is hosting a 2nd annual 8X8 fundraiser! We received so much positive feedback from this last year, we decided to do it again! Join us and take home an original piece of art while supporting AVA’s programs.
All artists are invited to participate in the 2nd annual Create 8X8 exhibit, a benefit for AVA’s ongoing and expanding programs. AVA provides the 8X8 inch wooden panels, artists make them into amazing original artworks. AVA auctions them to the public during the exhibit in early June. Grab your panels during May 2nd Saturday’s Artwalk or during AVA’s open hours, Fridays to Sundays, 11:00am – 3:00pm, or by appointment any day of the week. Artists may also use their own 8X8 panels.
Artists can make up to three pieces. All media is welcome. Artists may ask for up to 30% commission on sales. Funds raised will support AVA’s 501(c)3 nonprofit programs including the gallery, youth education, and artist residences that are important for the cultural ecology of the region. All panels must be returned to AVA by June 3rd.
