Learn to weave cedar bark into a miniature coastal foraging basket. In this class, participants will learn to craft cedar bark into a basket with open weave for aeration and drainage of your foraging collections. Cedar bark will be prepared to 1/8″ strips for warp and fine twine for weft. Use your finished 4″ x 4″ basket to gather small, lightweight items such as seaweeds, shells, berries, basketry materials.
