In this 3-day workshop, we will help you hand build a fermentation crock you will use for years to come. We will focus on building crocks that will hold 1-3 quarts and have a matching lid so the water seal will keep that ferment fresh! We will provide all the materials you need, just bring some clothes and a towel you don’t mind getting a little messy. No previous ceramics knowledge necessary.
Jo Pfeifer teaches Intro to Wheel and Mixed Level Wheel classes at Morning Ceramics Studio in Portland, OR. She has experience teaching surface decoration techniques like sgraffito, mishima, underglaze transfers with newsprint, and working with and making slip.
