Join us at the South Pacific County Humane Society parking lot at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 5th for our annual Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment. All socialized animals are welcome. We’ve had horses and birds along with the dogs and cats. Blessing is courtesy of the Reverend Richard Loop, Vicar at St. Peter Episcopal Church.
